I designed this experiment as simple house for a couple in a city or for small plot of land. Each floor has its own function. I was inspired by Japanese buildings and a piece of artwork from MoMA by Heubner entitled "Minimal Dwelling, 1928". This artwork appears on the LG heating/AC units on each floor.
The lower level is a multifunctional space which I've left empty, but would include mechanicals and room for laundry and hobby areas.
The ground floor houses the entry, kitchen, and dining areas.
The second floor is the living space and toilet.
The third floor is the bedroom and main bath, including a shower and Japanese bath.
The fourth floor is an outdoor deck and entertainment space.
The final area is an open deck off of the kitchen for fair-weather entertaining.
Each of the 6 areas is 16 x 16 feet.
Thanks to all whose models I've included or modified for use in my design.
